EGAF Elderly Care Foundation (EGAF) is a Malawian National, non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for older persons, particularly Women and those who are vulnerable, marginalized, and facing neglect or abuse. Founded on principles of compassion, dignity, and social justice, EGAF works to protect and empower older persons while supporting families and communities to provide better care.

EGAF offers free sewing (tailoring) training to widows and single mothers who care for older person dependents but lack the financial means to support them. This program equips beneficiaries with practical skills to generate income, thereby improving household stability and care for the older person.

Executive Director
The Executive Director is the chief executive officer responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing daily operations, mobilizing resources, and ensuring the organization fulfills its mission of improving the lives, dignity, health, and well-being of older persons particularly Women in Malawi. The Executive Director serves as the primary representative of the foundation and works closely with the Board of Directors, donors, government agencies, community leaders, staff, volunteers, and development partners. Executive Directors in nonprofit organizations typically lead strategy, fundraising, program implementation, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and organizational growth.
